Development Plan

Artifactory 28 is in the early development phase, focused on establishing its governance, institutional framework, educational strategy, and partnerships. Current priorities include forming the founding Board of Directors, advancing organizational planning, developing relationships with educational and cultural institutions, and establishing the foundation for long-term collections access, research, and educational programming.

• Develop educational and object-based learning initiatives

• Develop relationships with schools, colleges, universities, museums, libraries, archives, and cultural organizations

• Advance site identification and facility planning

• Begin fundraising and resource development

• Expand educational and research programming

• Develop collection-based installations and focused exhibitions as appropriate

• Establish a public-facing presence and visitor experiences

• Expand institutional partnerships and collaborative programming

Artifactory 28 is building toward a future where the Ira M. Resnick Collection becomes a dynamic resource for education, scholarship, and public engagement. Ultimately, Artifactory 28 will open its doors as a place where the visual history of Hollywood’s Golden Age can be explored, studied, and connected to contemporary culture—while expanding opportunities for learning, collaboration, and discovery.
